Summer Photos!

July 17, 2011

Happy Red, White, and Blue Birthday, America!  3 generations of Bucky Badger hats.

Watching our new favorite DVD Thomas the Tank Engine and having a picnic on a too-rainy-to-play-outside-day.

The Flying Butt Bomb at gymnastics

Bellin Run, which was walked this year.

Puddle!

Playing at Grandpa Steve and Grandma Cheryl’s house!

My very first train ride!  The Torch Lake at Greenfield Village.

My disguise.

Otis’s disguise.  It’s a recycled one that Uncle AJ used to use.

Wiped out from all that activity!!

I am three!!  Grandpa Ken and Grandma Kay came over for my birthday dinner last night: chicken nuggets and french fries!  Yum.  Mommy asked me what kind of cake I wanted, and I said Pac-Man.  I like playing Pac-Man with Daddy on his computer.  So I got a Pac-Man cake with three candles.

I had fun opening my presents, and I even let little brother help me.

Happy birthday to me!

My lil’ brother won some tickets to see Disney on Ice (aka Mickey and Minnie on Ice Skates, as I like to call it) from the library reading program.  I’m so glad Mommy and Daddy read to us every day!!  And that they take us out on a really, really cold day to see a show.  My favorite part was Goofy, because he fell down alot!  Otis was amazed by the whole experience.  He liked clapping and dancing to the music.  I wore my Mickey fleece that Grandma Cheryl made me, and Mommy made Otis a Mickey shirt.

Happy Birthday Otis!

My baby brother is ONE year old!  We call him Oat Boat, so Mommy made him some cupcakes with boats on them.  He thought they were really yummy!

Jam Session

January 19, 2011

My Uncle Zak got me a pretty sweet CD for Christmas- They Might Be Giants: Here Come the 1, 2, 3s.  Daddy taught me how to play air guitar, and this little video clip displays my jamming skills.

Playtime and Playdates

And when we are tuckered out from all that playing… shhhhh!

Hanging Out at the Hospital

January 19, 2011

One of Mommy’s (half-joking) resolutions was that no one was going to end up in the hospital this year.  Well, we made it a whole 14 days on that one before I broke it.  I got the nasty stomach flu that’s been going around, and got very dehydrated from not being able to keep any liquids in my tummy.  My blood sugar was quite low as well, so I got all hooked up to an IV to get some fluids.  The nurses were so nice and friendly, and there was even a Child Life helper named Ashley who let me play with her iPad while I was getting the IV!  That was so much fun!  I am home now, and feeling much better.  Otis likes it better when I can run around and play with him, too.  He was so confused when all I wanted to do was slump on the couch.  He did make the most of all the attention he got at the hospital, though, while I was zonked out.  Mommy thought it was funny to put Otis in the jail cell crib there, too!  (He was not as amused.)

Blizzard Aiden

January 3, 2011

Just for the viewing pleasure of Grandma Kay and Grandpa Ken (who are currently in Texas), as well as any other readers that reside in a more temperate climate:  photos of our first blizzard of the season! (Dec. 11-12, 2010, approx. 14 inches of snow.)

Christmas Gifts Aplenty

January 3, 2011

My brother Otis and I are SO blessed to have all these people in our family (and almost-family neighbors and friends) that gave us Christmas gifts!  Thank you to you all :)   The least I can do is share pictures of the fun we had opening them.  I even enjoyed playing with them, while Otis was content to carry around the paper and boxes.

Jingle Bells?

January 3, 2011

I really don’t know what to say about this dog, except it was a “gift” from Daddy’s friend Chris Storbeck.
